Virtual lessons for esafety

Thursday, February 2, 2017

A series of free age appropriate virtual lessons on safe and responsible internet use will be available for schools to run interactive student workshops as part of this year’s Safer Internet Day on Tuesday 7 February.

With the help of classroom teachers and guided by cyber safety experts, the videos will feature interactive classroom activities allowing students and teachers to discuss and develop a deep understanding of internet safety.

Aimed at middle and upper primary students, the Keep it sweet online presentation will be live at 1.30pm on Monday 6 February and will focus on internet rights, online behaviours, and handling cyberbullying.

At 1.30pm on Wednesday 8 February, lower and middle secondary will have the opportunity to explore digital reputations and building a positive digital brand in the What’s your brand presentation.
