Supporting children’s learning in a rapidly changing world is one of the key themes of this year’s Parents in Education (PiE) week, happening across the state from 18 to 22 September.
PiE week focuses on promoting the importance of parent engagement in a child’s education from birth through the school years. Throughout the week, parents can attend a number of free interactive sessions with the Minister for Education and Child Development and other keynote speakers.
A number of venues across the state have registered to host a live or recorded viewing of one or more of these sessions, which can also be accessed by individuals at home through the DECD YouTube page until 31 December 2017.
Whether attending a session or watching from home, parents can interact with the panel and keynote speakers by using a smart device to ask questions or comment on discussions.
For more information on the key note speakers and how to register to attend, watch or interact in a session visit the Parents in Education week page.
