This policy sets out the expectations for early childhood educators and leaders as contained within the National Quality Standard.

It clarifies the roles and responsibilities of early childhood educators in DECD preschools in providing evidence of children's progress against the Department for Education and Child Development (DECD) Educational Achievement Standards through the Statement of Learning.
