It’s show time – education and fun at the Royal Show

Our staff will be at the Royal Adelaide Show again this year, helping to showcase some of the best programs in our schools. You can find us in the DECD Learning Centre.

Some highlights include a brand new science centre with live science busking, hands-on experiments and interactive exhibits. The usual favourites will be there, including the baby animal feeding and cow-milking displays.

The Little Big Book Club will be performing ‘It’s Rhyme Time’ show every day. It’s a great chance to watch favourite nursery rhymes performed live.

Nature Play SA will be another feature – helping to get families and children in touch with nature. You’ll find natural resources for children to build things, including seedpods, wooden blocks, sticks and bark.

Our activity area will have colouring-in activity sheets about nature, farmyard animals and counting, with textas, pencils and crayons. There’ll also be a reading corner set up for children and families.

You can read more about what’s on and where.
